The power of AR

SnapChat is the pioneer of augmented reality within social media and a key player in the promotion of world events including the 2022 World Cup.

The mission

We were asked to create a suite of assets to promote the use of Snapchat during the huge World Cup 2022 event.This included motion graphic videos that created excitement around bespoke SnapChat lenses and the power of AR. 


The World Cup 2022 campaign was such a success, we were also asked to create a spotlight video to be presented at the Snapchat Newfront Live event with over 1k attendees and 20k online streamers.

The creation

Through a process of illustrating storyboards and bringing scenes to life, we were able to create high impact videos to be shared across snapchats social channels. These included a mix of footage and motion graphics following the brand’s bespoke World Cup look and feel. 


Snapchat Newfront Live required a very meticulous approach to create a spotlight video which would play across three giant digital screens each with two separate video side panels. This also required sound design to build tension and excitement within the venue and to the thousands of viewers watching remotely.
